Info: Donation to the Tie Preston Library in Canyon Lake, Texas. Of interest is that the children in the swing are my sons when they were small. The oldest is reading to the youngest. The girl in the purple dress is me when I was young, the boy in the red strip shirt is my husband and the two blond hair toddlers are my grandchildren. All the other children are those from my childhood. The dogs are Bichon Frese. It was fun putting the family in one picture as they were as children.

Name: Different but the same Medium: Oil Size: 18 x 20 Price: 0 Info: This found a home in the city managers office at the Rockport City Hall. Of interest is the fact that the white pelican is larger than the brown and is a winter Texan. The brown pelicans were on the endanger list because DDT was causing their eggs to be too thin and the young would not survive. That has been corrected. The two types will fish for food differently. The white will form a circle herding the fish to the middle and will eat in that circle. The brown are usually alone unless mating and will dive for their food. In flight they remind me of B3 bombers.
